Four flat inks, no blends: tone is built from stepped bands, one screen per colour, and the key screen slips out of register. The landscape takes the sheet, the title sits in a band at the foot.
Brand Guidelines
No gradients allowed. All atmospheric perspective must be built using stepped, horizontal bands of flat ink. The key layer (Dark Teal) must always be slightly misaligned (out of register) to reveal the substrate and overlap underlying colors, emphasizing the physical silkscreen process.
PARK RANGER
Using modern digital gradients and soft drop-shadows completely ruins the aesthetic. The WPA style is defined by the severe limitations of the silkscreen medium: colors cannot blend natively, so tone and depth must be created by harsh, stepped geometric cuts of flat ink.
