Typography is anchored heavily to the very bottom or top left margins, leaving massive tracts of pure white space (the "void"). The shapes must never create recognizable representations of physical objects (houses, people, etc). There is no gravity; things float.

Creating "gravity" destroys Suprematism. By adding a ground floor (a horizon line), assembling the shapes into a physical object (a house), and placing a cast shadow underneath it, the feeling of infinite, weightless spatial tension is completely lost. It ceases to be Suprematist and becomes a simple architectural illustration.
